Hampi
Hampi is the town of the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire. It is one of the UNESCO-recognized world heritage sites in India. The place is one of India's best-known archaeological destinations. The town of Hampi is in a secluded area, with royal residences, temples, towers, roads, and statues all spread over a massive area.

Itinerary

Arrive in Hampi and proceed for a cycling tour of Hampi. Visit a school, orphanage, or NGO for service-related activities. Later, we will proceed to the coracle boat ride.


Hike to Mathanga Hills. Visit a local village for a workshop on bamboo and fiber handicrafts. Finally, visit the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary.


Take a walking tour of Hampi and visit all the interesting historical structures, like the Vijaya Vithala Temple Complex and others. Visit the other side of Hampi and learn about “Krishnadevaraya’s Hampi and see how a complex system of dams, water reservoirs, tanks, canals, and aqueducts was used to bring water into the city, how different festivals were celebrated during the king’s rule, etc.


Proceed to learn the concepts of archaeology and scientific methods to learn about the past. Workshop on Traditional Board Games in India. A walking tour of Hemkuta Hill with a story-telling session. Proceed back for your return journey back home.
