Mark's extensive 14-year voyage across 40 countries unveiled a stark realization: traditional education often falls short in preparing students for the real world. Armed with this insight, Mark embarked on a mission to bridge this gap by founding Happymiles.
Driven by a profound passion for both travel and education, Mark envisioned a platform where students, teachers, and educators could immerse themselves in real-world experiences, transcending the boundaries of conventional learning. His academic background in management from Wilson College, Mumbai, coupled with his global adventures, uniquely positioned him to lead this endeavor.
At Happymiles, Mark's vision is palpable. Through affordable travel programs meticulously crafted to seamlessly integrate practical education with exploration, he seeks to empower individuals to apply classroom learning in tangible, meaningful ways. Each journey with Happymiles is a testament to Mark's unwavering commitment to providing transformative educational experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Daniel Conrad D'Souza

Daniel has extensive experience in the development & operations of Experiential Travel Programs.. He has worked on several projects like alternative travel & rural immersion.
He specializes in biodiversity conservation through eco friendly tourism practices & is an advocate for the revival of local arts, crafts & culture. He likes to be one with nature & enjoys cycling, trekking & adventure.
Apart ensuring the best learning experience for every journey with Happymiles, He is also responsible for curating the Happymiles Travel Merchandise that our student travellers use on the tours.

Dr. Grace Getzie

Meet Grace, Happymiles' Global Partnerships Manager and our newest bridge between the world of IB education and the world beyond the classroom.
Grace brings an unusual combination to the Happymiles team — a medical degree, six years of IB teaching experience, and a deep fluency in the frameworks that international schools care about most. Having taught IB Biology and Theory of Knowledge at one of Bangalore's leading international schools, she understands not just what schools need from an experiential learning programme, but why they need it.
Now stepping from the classroom into the field, Grace leads Happymiles' outreach to IB schools globally — building partnerships that turn the world into a classroom. Her conviction is simple: the most powerful learning happens when students are taken out of their comfort zones and shown that knowledge has no walls.
